RPSC 2nd Grade Teacher Recruitment 2025: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has officially announced the RPSC 2nd Grade Teacher Recruitment 2025, opening the door for thousands of teaching aspirants across the state. This year, the commission has invited applications for 6,500 posts, making it one of the biggest recruitment opportunities for teachers in Rajasthan. Candidates can apply online between 19 August 2025 and 17 September 2025.

Important Dates for RPSC 2nd Grade Teacher Recruitment 2025

The official notification was released on 17 July 2025, and the online application process began on 19 August 2025. Applicants must ensure that they complete the registration before the deadline of 17 September 2025. The last date for fee payment is also 17 September 2025. Information regarding the exam date and admit card will be shared later on the official RPSC website.

Application Fee Details

Applicants need to pay the required application fee while submitting the online form. The fee structure is as follows:

  • General and Other State Candidates: ₹600
  • SC / ST, OBC / BC Candidates: ₹400
  • Correction Charge: ₹500

The fee can be paid online using Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, or Mobile Wallet.

Age Limit and Relaxation

As per the notification, the minimum age required for candidates is 18 years, and the maximum age is 40 years as on 1 January 2026. Age relaxation will be applicable as per RPSC rules for reserved categories.

Vacancy Distribution

Out of the 6,500 vacancies, posts have been distributed across various subjects and regions (TSP and Non-TSP areas). The detailed distribution is:

  • Hindi: 1005 (Non-TSP), 47 (TSP)
  • English: 1150 (Non-TSP), 155 (TSP)
  • Mathematics: 1184 (Non-TSP), 201 (TSP)
  • Science: 1160 (Non-TSP), 195 (TSP)
  • Social Science: 401 (Non-TSP)
  • Sanskrit: 842 (Non-TSP), 98 (TSP)
  • Punjabi: 11 (Non-TSP)
  • Urdu: 48 (Non-TSP)
  • Sindhi: 2 (Non-TSP)
  • Gujarati: 1 (Non-TSP)

This makes the total number of available posts 6,500 across different subjects.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the RPSC 2nd Grade Teacher Recruitment 2025, candidates must fulfill the subject-wise eligibility requirements:

  • For Hindi, English, Mathematics, Sanskrit, Punjabi, Sindhi, Gujarati, Urdu: Graduation or equivalent examination with the subject as an optional subject and a Degree/Diploma in Education recognized by NCTE/Government.
  • For Science: Graduation with at least two optional subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Micro-Biology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry, along with a Degree/Diploma in Education.
  • For Social Science: Graduation with at least two optional subjects from History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration, or Philosophy, with a Degree/Diploma in Education.

Additionally, candidates must have working knowledge of Hindi in the Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.

Selection Process

The selection process for RPSC 2nd Grade Teachers will be carried out in three stages:

  1. Written Examination
  2. Document Verification
  3. Medical Examination

Only candidates who qualify in all stages will be considered for final appointment.
